It's spring time again!!

I love spring! I had made a whole long post about spring and all that has gone on with the kids and some how it didn't get saved except these pictures of the kids and some of their spring sports. Will have to go back later and find the rest of the stuff (like spring break, Todd's 40th birthday and strawberry picking), but for now will share about the kids sports.

All 3 kids played spring soccer Emily's team went undefeated this spring:

Here is one of her goals (she is in yellow top right of the picture), she took a shot from out far and it was good:

Here she is dribbling up the field:

It was a great season and they had lots of fun. This was the last time they will play co-ed. Next year they move up and go all girls, it should be lots of fun as we have a good group of girls her age.

The boys had a good season too, not as good as their fall season, but still good. They did lose 2 games this spring during regular season and had to have a playoff game to see who would make it to the Texas Spring cup and they lost that game. We are still proud of how well they did.

Now we will finally get a 2 month break from soccer and then in August start it all over again.

Spring also is baseball season. JT didn't want to play this year, but Dylan did. Here he is walking on the field on opening day:

This is the first year of kid pitch for Dylan. He is so excited. He got to pitch in their first game:

Here Dylan is up to bat:

Their first game was 2 days before opening day, but they played again on opening day, but Dylan wasn't eligible to pitch again, so he got to play first base:

On third base, ready to take home:

Here he is sliding into home:

Since JT didn't want to play baseball he asked if he could play in the NFL flag football league, we said he could. Here he is after a catch, trying to run to the endzone:

Going for the other teams flag:

Soccer and flag football are already done with, and baseball is in its last week. Love watching my kids have fun out on the field, but sure is nice when its over. Now on to some R & R this summer as the kids have said they didn't want to do the swim team. No problem, it will just be a short break and then soccer will be started back up before we know it!
