We are still here!

Hooray it is summer, maybe now I can get caught up on this blog. We have been so busy with the end of baseball season, the start of swim team season and the end of school, plus we have already gone camping twice in the last 3 weeks, so it has been crazy around here. I am going to start with some of it now and will finish going through the 1,000+ pictures I have taken for May and the first week of June and post more later.

Emily's girl scout troop did a great job at the beginning of this year with girl scout cookies sales. With the money they made the girls voted on having a spa like party. A company came out and did their makeup and nails and let them dress up and had them walk the "catwalk" and then they played some games. The girls loved it:

The school decided to have 1st graders do a Science Fair Project in May, not sure why they didn't do it when the rest of the school did theirs earlier this year, but theirs was a little different. They had to pick something to study and then create a 3D model of what they studied. Dylan did tree rings. Here he is working hard on his project:

The booster club at the kids school always puts on a buddy day. They pick a friend from class and the pair go outside and they have all sorts of activities to do with your buddy. It is a fun day. Dylan and his buddy Leah:

Emily and her buddy Daniel:

JT and his buddy Carson:

Well spring baseball is over, it is bitter sweet. I love watching the kids, but it is so tiring running them to practice and games so it is nice to have a break. The boys both played great. Here are some pictures from the last few games.
Dylan ready to take off 1st base:

Dylan stretching to make the catch on 1st base to get the out:

Emily was in a school play. Her class had to dress up like plants. Here is some of her class before the play covered in leaves:

They got on stage and sung a song and the little plants grew:
Here she is after the play with 2 of her buddies:

That gets us caught up to the middle of May. I will be back soon with more.

I love the spa pics - they are too cute! And the plant costumes were too. Sounds like the boys did great for baseball. Glad to see you updated!
