Kids in December

December is such a busy month. The kids had all kinds of things going on. The boys Cub scout troop went caroling and Emilys Daisy troop collected toys for others. Also this month Dylan's fall ball team had their end of season party and they got their trophies:
Emily decided to try to learn to ride her bike without training wheels. Or she tried once and wasn't successful and has tried one or two other times, but still hasn't got it:

Emily got a scrapbook from Grandma all about her that she started:

The kids wrote with chalk one afternoon on the driveway:

My mom went to visit her brother and sister in law, my Uncle Dobby and Aunt Carol, and their daughter Jennifer and granddaughter Hailey. They sent back a stocking filled with goodies for the kids. That was so sweet of them, thank you very much!

JT got this ornament from them that is so cute. I think it was made from a light bulb. Emily got a reindeer one like it too!

They also got the boys Chick Fil A gift cards, which they loved and have already used.

Emily was sick in early December and missed two days of school, which also caused her to miss girl scouts one day. Well the boys still made it to boys scouts and they made a Christmas chain coutdown and she was so sad that she didn't get to see what they did in girl scouts so Mimi went and bought her this cute gingerbread house to do while she was at home:

Here she is showing off her cute house slippers:

This is her with the completed house:
