Butterflies

So if you have a TV and watch it, I am sure you have seen the commercial for the bugville thing. You know you get a little net housing and caterpillars and they turn into butterflies. Well JT (being the science and nature person he is) wanted this and Uncle Tyson bought it for him for Christmas. I waited til it started to warm up before sending off for the caterpillars. Well we got them on March 7. They were these tiny little things. JT was so excited:

By March 14 they had really grown:

Then by March 18 they had all cocooned so we took them out of the jar and placed them in the net housing:

As of today they still haven't come out butterflies, but one of them was really shaking the other day so I expect it will happen soon. This really was a lot of fun to watch and the best part, I didn't have to feed them, all the food was in the jar, once they become butterflies we will, but we should be able to release them shortly after.
